Randy Horton

I can remember buying my first camera in the third grade, so I guess you could say I have been interested in photography for quite awhile!

By the time high school rolled around, I was a photographer on the yearbook staff and employed by a professional photographer in my home town of Shawnee, Oklahoma. By 1994 I was a partner in a studio in Norman, Oklahoma where I graduated from college at the University of Oklahoma.

I met my wife Cimarron in 1995 and we began working together at the studio in Norman. In 1996 we decided to move to the Tampa area to pursue our profession together. We have spent the time since then doing fine portraiture and weddings in the Tampa Bay area and abroad.

Cimarron Horton

At the time I met Cimarron she was attending the University of Oklahoma studying to be a registered nurse. When we moved to Florida, she continued in her nursing pursuits while she photographed weddings with me on the weekends. After moving to Tampa, Cimarron attended the University of South Florida College of Nursing and graduated with her degree in nursing in May of 2000. She worked as a Pediatric RN for 4 years but has since taken a break from the nursing profession to work at the studio and be a mom. On October 22, 2004 Randy and Cimarron welcomed the arrival of their first child, a son, Carter William Horton and this year on May 12, 2006 their second child was born, another son, Hadley Price Horton.

Cimarron's specialty is wedding photojournalism. She has the unique talent to see the little details that others would pass by without even noticing, like the look on the groom's face as the bride walks down the aisle or a tear on the bride's cheek as she dances with dad. Cimarron's creativity and ability to capture these moments gives a personal touch to our wedding photography and an original style to our wedding albums.

Jennifer Maihack

Jennifer came to Artisan Photography from Ohio where she graduated from college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. She is a very creative and artistic wedding and portrait photographer. Her talent and style have been an important contribution to the studio.

Jennifer is also highly skilled in the area of photographic artwork and image enhancement. Using the latest in computer technology, her talents give our portraits a superior quality and presentation. She does a wonderful job of making our clients look their very best.

Caroline Hanna

Caroline began her photographic endeavours at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where she majored in Media Arts and Photography. Her ability to capture ascetically appealing photographs makes her a true storyteller. She began talking photos at a very young age and photography has been a passion of hers ever since. Throughout her career she has traveled all over the United States and Europe photographing numerous facets of the portrait industry.

Carter Horton

Carter William Horton was born on October 22, 2004 and thanks to Mommy and Daddy has since become the most photographed baby ever! :) I guess we may be a little bit biased, but we think he is the cutest, sweetest, most precious baby in the world. Even though he doesn't have any photographic talents yet, his laughter and smile make him an important addition to the studio. Every day with him is such a blessing and we are thankful for all of the love and joy he brings to our lives.

Hadley Horton

Hadley Price Horton was born on May 12, 2006 and is now the second most photographed baby ever! :) He is such a lovable little guy and is just as cute and sweet and precious as his big brother. Even though we are sleep deprived we are so thankful for our two handsome and healthy boys. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful addition to our family.
